🎉 We’re honored to share that Thrive Therapy of Kansas was nominated for Clinical Facility of the Year by the Wichita State University Physical Therapy Department!

We were grateful to receive this recognition last week, and it means so much to our entire Thrive team. We truly value the relationship we’ve built with the WSU Physical Therapy Department, faculty, and students and appreciate the opportunity to play a role in educating and mentoring the next generation of physical therapists.

As a home health therapy provider, we have the unique opportunity to give students experience providing care where our patients live. It allows them to see firsthand the importance of meeting patients where they are, adapting to real-life environments, building meaningful relationships, and helping people achieve greater independence in their everyday lives.

We enjoy sharing our knowledge and experience with students, but we also appreciate the fresh perspectives, curiosity, and enthusiasm they bring to our team. Clinical education gives all of us an opportunity to continue learning and growing together.

We’re incredibly proud of our Thrive team and thankful to the WSU Physical Therapy Department for this recognition and for their continued partnership and trust.

We look forward to continuing to foster this relationship and supporting future physical therapists for years to come! đź’›

Back where it all began!

Thrive Therapy of Kansas was proud to visit Hutchinson Community College, where our Assistant Director of Rehab, Melissa Edwards, PTA, returned to her alma mater to connect with the next generation of PTA professionals.

Melissa introduced students to the Kansas Brain Injury Waiver program and the work we do at Thrive Therapy of Kansas. Thrive helps individuals with brain injuries regain their independence, improve their quality of life, and successfully return to living, working, and thriving in their homes and communities.

Thank you to HutchCC for welcoming us back to campus! We love sharing our passion for rehabilitation and inspiring future clinicians to make a lasting difference.

💙 At Thrive, we believe healing doesn't stop at home—it grows through meaningful connections in the communities we serve.

⚾🤝 We're proud to partner with the Wichita Wind Surge to provide volunteer opportunities for our employees and patients by serving in the concession stands during home games. Together, we're giving back, supporting our local community, and creating memorable experiences—one game at a time! 🌭🥤🌎

🌱 For our patients, volunteering is about more than serving others—it's an opportunity to build confidence, develop job and communication skills, strengthen social connections, and take meaningful steps toward successful community reintegration. Working alongside our team and fellow volunteers helps foster a renewed sense of purpose, belonging, and independence while making a positive impact. 💪❤️

🙌 This partnership reflects Thrive's commitment to empowering individuals, strengthening our community, and creating opportunities for growth through service. We're grateful to the Wichita Wind Surge for making this experience possible and look forward to cheering on our team while serving our community together! ⚾💙

đź’™ Today is National Speech-Language Pathologist Day, and we want to take a moment to recognize our incredible Thrive SLPs working in home health and community-based settings.

The work you do is deeply personal and profoundly impactful. You step into patients’ homes and lives, meeting them where they are—supporting individuals recovering from brain injuries as they relearn how to communicate, process, swallow, and reconnect with the world around them.

Your work requires flexibility, creativity, clinical skill, and compassion in equal measure. No two days look the same, and no two patients’ journeys are alike—but you show up consistently with patience, respect, and unwavering dedication to progress, no matter how small the step.

You help restore independence, rebuild confidence, and support families navigating some of the most challenging moments of their lives. That kind of care extends far beyond therapy—it changes entire futures.

Thank you for the resilience, empathy, and expertise you bring into every home, every visit, and every interaction. Thrive is stronger because of you, and our patients are better for having you in their corner.

đź’™ Happy National SLP Day!

We loved hosting a BI Day at our community therapy center with our WSU PT students! 🩺✨

The students had the opportunity to meet patients, perform mock evaluations and treatments, and gain valuable hands-on experience. Experiences like these help shape the future of physical therapy by building confidence, compassion, and clinical skills.

Thank you to our patients, staff, and students for making it such a meaningful day. We’re excited to support and inspire the next generation of therapists! 💙

Our Case Managers and Leadership Team had the opportunity to attend the annual Brain Injury Conference in Topeka this week!

We are proud to invest in continued learning and professional growth, and this conference provided valuable insights, new strategies, and opportunities to connect with others in the field. By expanding our knowledge base, we strengthen our ability to better serve the individuals and families we support every day.

Thank you to the organizers of the BIAK Conference for creating such a meaningful space for collaboration and education. We’re excited to bring what we’ve learned back to our team and continue growing together.
