Our friends over at Riverside Family Music are hosting a FREE “Discovery Day” Open House, and we wanted to help spread the word! 💛

Trauma-informed care isn't a specific type of therapy. It's an approach to caring for people.

Whether you're coming in for therapy, pelvic floor therapy, or another service, you deserve to feel respected, heard, and included in your own care.

Being trauma-informed means recognizing that many people have experienced adversity, loss, discrimination, medical trauma, violence, or other overwhelming experiences and that those experiences can influence how someone experiences healthcare today.

At Flourish, we strive to create spaces where people feel safe enough to be themselves. That means listening with curiosity instead of judgment, honoring each person's identity and lived experiences, collaborating on treatment decisions, and recognizing that healing isn't one-size-fits-all.

Our commitment to trauma-informed care also includes being LGBTQ+ affirming, working toward anti-racist practices, recognizing the impact of systemic inequities on health and mental health, and continually learning from the communities we serve.

No practice gets it perfect every time, but we believe it's important to keep listening, learning, and growing.

Because healing begins with relationships built on trust, respect, and compassion.
