Brandi Brace, CPM and Christy Gimben, CPM practice Traditional Midwifery & are committed to helping you achieve a God-honoring birth, offering home births, water births, VBAC'S, and more. We are passionate about providing gentle, personal, and evidence-based midwifery care and home birth services. Kathy is a 5th generation midwife and Brandi is following suit. 💙 It's a BOY! 💙
After four beautiful sisters, this sweet little guy has officially made his arrival—and his sisters couldn't be more excited to welcome their very first brother! 🥰

There's something so special about watching a family grow and seeing older siblings eagerly anticipate meeting their newest family member. We have no doubt this sweet boy will be surrounded by plenty of love, guidance, and attention from his four biggest fans. 💕

🏡 Home visits are such an important part of preparing for a home birth.

These visits give families the opportunity to discuss birth preferences, review supplies, ask questions, and prepare their space for labor and delivery. We also go over when to call the midwife, what to expect during labor, and complete prenatal care as birth day approaches.

Having a prepared and peaceful birth space can help families feel more confident, supported, and ready to welcome their baby. 💛✨

Every family prepares differently, and we love helping create an environment that feels safe, calm, and personalized for each birth journey. 🌿

Introducing my SECOND grandbaby! 🩷Rowan Eliana 🩷

This sweet girl made her entrance at home, surrounded by love. Watching my son and daughter in-law welcome their second baby was such a gift, and having the privilege of serving as their midwife makes it even more special.

As both a midwife and a grandma, this birth was especially meaningful. What a gift it is to watch the next generation grow and to be part of such a beautiful beginning.

🌿 May was a beautiful month of welcoming new life! 🌿

This month, we had the honor of helping welcome 8 precious babies into the world:
💙 6 boys
💗 2 girls

We also celebrated some special milestones along the way:
✨ 2 first-time moms becoming mothers
✨ 2 successful VBAC births
✨ 1 hospital transfer resulting in a safe birth for both mother and baby

Every birth story is unique. Some unfold exactly as expected, while others take unexpected turns. No matter the path, it is always our privilege to walk alongside families, offering support, guidance, and care throughout their journey.

We are so grateful for the trust these families placed in us and for the opportunity to witness the strength, courage, and love that accompanies each birth. 💛

🌸 Welcome, to the world Lillian Mae 🌸

Sometimes birth unfolds differently than we imagined. What began as one kind of journey became another, with unexpected turns that led this mama to the hospital for a cesarean birth.

While this birth story looked different than hoped for, the outcome we prayed for is here — a safe mama and a healthy baby. 💖

One of the beautiful things about midwifery care is that support does not end when plans change. Whether birth happens at home, in a birth suite, or in a hospital room, we continue walking alongside our families through every step, every decision, and every emotion that comes with the journey. 🌿

We are so grateful this sweet baby arrived safely earthside and are holding this family in so much love as they begin this new chapter together. ✨
