Remember that sunglasses protect the health of your eyes.

July is UV Awareness Month β€” and new research from The Vision Council reveals a striking disconnect. While 65% of non-sunglass wearers are familiar with how UV exposure can harm their eyes, only 36% are concerned enough to act on it. More awareness alone isn't closing that gap: just 7% of non-wearers say greater health risk messaging would actually change their behavior.

The opportunity for our industry isn't more information. It's better products, better fit, and better access.

Throughout July, we'll be sharing findings from our latest Focused inSights report. And over on Instagram, we're celebrating UV Awareness Month with a summer-long sunglass giveaway series.
