We are SO ready for Halloween and one way we are getting ready is painting some fantastic & fabulous pumpkins in each of our homes for an upcoming Painted Pumpkin 🎃 contest!

We are so grateful that Mayberry Cultural and Fine Arts Magnet Middle School students visited our Westside homes today to share their music with us to help close out Hispanic Heritage month!
The 13 students and their Director Panya who visited were wonderful and so engaging with our residents. Thank you for bringing some extra joy to our folks today - it was great!
We will post a video of one of the songs played today for you all to enjoy as well.

Excited for our up north friends!!!

IT’S OFFICIALLY HAPPENING!

Construction has begun on our SECOND ComfortCare Homes of Harvey County location right here in Newton! We’re excited to grow and bring even more families the comfort, compassion, and personalized dementia care they deserve.

We’re thrilled to be partnering with Accel Construction, who helped bring our original home to life! We loved working with their team and are excited to have their experience and expertise with us again as we begin this next chapter.

Our goal is to open in Spring 2027… hopefully! Because, as we all know, construction timelines and reality don’t always see eye to eye! So, fingers crossed, hard hats on, and we’ll keep you updated along the way!

We’re so grateful for our amazing staff, families, and community who make this growth possible. Stay tuned as we bring our next home to life!

Fun & Games Friday!!!
We LOVE games of all sorts and never tire of trying new games or playing our hands at some of our old favorites. What are some of your favorite games to play?

We've got something big brewing for spring of 2027 and we are getting a head start on some art exploration for this project... stay tuned for more!
We will be trying our hand at various art techniques and learning about different artists, tools, and mediums.
The first art project was a Kandinsky inspired
color study.
Residents selected two colors which they also mixed together to create a third color and painted circles reminiscent of Kandinsky's famous artwork.
We look forward to creating more masterpieces on our Tuesday Creative Corners!
