🌮🎉 Resident Genie and Dietary Manager Cassandra teamed up to make homemade salsa for Cinco de Mayo, while Executive Director Maggie mixed up some refreshing mock margaritas!

Both were a huge hit with the residents and made for a fun and flavorful celebration. 💙

We were so glad to welcome April with Angels Home Health to Homestead of Waterfront on Wednesday, May 29th! 💛

In recognition of National Humor Month, she shared helpful and uplifting ways to de-stress—like laughing more, dancing, trying new hobbies, and connecting with others.

April was both informative and engaging, and our residents truly enjoyed the time together. We’re already looking forward to her next community classroom session! 😊

A beautiful and meaningful moment at Homestead 💙

Our resident Carol was baptized on April 23rd, surrounded by love and support. Chaplain David Benavides with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice presided over the sacrament, making the day even more special.

Carol was joined by her daughter, son-in-law, niece, fellow residents, and team members, all honored to witness her commitment to God and her faith journey.

Congratulations, Carol—wishing you many blessings on your new life in Christ. 🙏✨

April 22nd was Earth Day 🌍 Our cook, Deb, and activity director, Kari, participated by dressing up in secondhand outfits. They posed by the recycle bins to promote that preloved clothing, along with separating recyclable goods, helps reduce waste and is good for our planet.

Monday, April 20th, was Look Alike Day. The team members who worked this day picked a resident to dress alike. We had such a fun time planning and executing this with our residents. Enjoy the amazing look-alike pictures we had a blast taking!
