This newborn underwent ear molding to correct a congenital ear deformity shortly after birth. šŸ‘‚šŸ½

The first few weeks of life are a critical window for treatment, as maternal hormones make the ear cartilage soft and easily moldable.

By starting treatment early, we can gently reshape the ear and often avoid the need for surgery later in life!

Mark your calendars—our next Cleft & Craniofacial Team Clinic takes place June 6thā—ļø

Because cleft and craniofacial conditions require long-term, specialized care, patients benefit most when an entire team of experts works together to create a personalized treatment plan.

Cleft and craniofacial conditions are complex and often affect feeding, speech, hearing, dental development, facial growth, airway function, and appearance. Providing the highest level of care requires a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach that brings together specialists from multiple fields.

By seeing the entire team in one clinic, patients and families receive comprehensive evaluations, collaborative treatment planning, and ongoing support throughout every stage of care. This approach helps ensure that all aspects of a patient's needs are addressed while creating a more seamless experience for families over the course of treatment.

A life-changing transformation for this sweet 3-month-old patient with a bilateral cleft lip and palate.

He underwent bilateral cleft lip and palate repair along with a cleft tip rhinoplasty to help restore lip structure, support closure, and improve nasal shape as part of his cleft care journey.

Every step in cleft care matters, and we’re honored to be part of helping these little patients grow, heal, and thrive.

This 4-month-old was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate and underwent lip repair with cleft tip rhinoplasty .
A bilateral cleft lip and palate means there are openings on both sides of the lip and roof of the mouth, which can affect feeding, speech, and facial development. Her recent surgery focused on repairing the lip and reshaping the nose, restoring structures to their natural position.
She has recovered quickly with feeding back to baseline and is getting ready for her cleft palate repair in a few months!

This is Forrest French, a sweet 3-month-old who was diagnosed with sagittal craniosynostosis and recently underwent surgery with our team. With the assistance of neurosurgery, we removed his fused suture and placed a 'spring' to reshape the skull and allow for his brain to grow without restriction.šŸ¤
This photo was taken at his one-week post-op visit, and he’s already doing so well and back to this smiley, sweet self. We’ve had the privilege of caring for Forrest and walking alongside his family throughout this journey. We know hearing your baby needs surgery can feel overwhelming, and we don’t take lightly the trust you placed in us.
It has truly meant so much to support your family through every step—thank you for allowing us to be part of Forrest’s story and for your kindness toward our team

This little sweetheart was born with a left cleft lip and underwent repair this January.
Early cleft lip repair helps restore normal function for feeding and supports facial development over time. Procedures like this are carefully timed and tailored to each patient.
Ongoing care remains a key part of treatment—regular follow-ups allow for monitoring of healing, support with feeding, guidance for speech development, and tracking facial growth as the child grows.
A strong start, with continued care every step of the way.

This 18-year-old crashed into a tree at 60 mph while texting and driving, resulting in severe facial injuries.

She sustained multiple facial fractures, including her jaw. Surgery was required to carefully reposition the bones and stabilize them with small plates and screws so they could heal properly.

Don’t text and drive.
While we can fix it here , we’d much prefer if we didn’t have to.
