Dr. George Tiller believed that every person deserves access to abortion care, no matter their circumstances and regardless of others' opinions. He gave everything for that belief and left a lasting legacy.

On this day in 2009, Dr. Tiller was murdered for providing later abortion care to people from all over the world. In his memory, Trust Women was established to continue his legacy. The mission he believed in so deeply lives on in every patient we care for, and in every barrier we break down.

Why do you think politicians are working so hard to restrict access to mifepristone despite decades of science proving it is safe and effective?

For us, Black Lives Matter was never a trend, it's a part of our core values.

Abortion bans disproportionately harm Black communities, and Black women are more than 3x as likely to die from pregnancy-related causes as white women. These disparities are the result of systems built on generations of inequity. At Trust Women, we are committed to dismantling those systems and making abortion care as accessible as possible.

This Memorial Day, we honor those who have sacrificed for our freedom. As we remember their bravery, let's keep fighting so all service members, including women, have access to the healthcare they deserve.

Access to safe and legal abortion is a right that should be protected.

Over 62.7 million people are living in a state with an abortion ban. More than likely, someone you know needs care but can't access it in their own state.

This International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, we want to highlight the fact that in just the first five months of 2026, there are already 525 anti-2SLGBTQIA+ bills across 44 states in the U.S.

There can be no equality when we can't control our own gender expression, our future, and our healthcare. Like this post to stand with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community 👍
