One of my favorite parts of being a therapist is getting to watch someone slowly realize that they’re capable of things they once thought were impossible.
Therapy isn’t about having all the answers.
Sometimes it’s about having a place to be honest, figure things out, learn new skills, and feel a little less alone in the process.
If you’ve been considering therapy, I currently have a few openings. 🩵

Midweek check-in:

How are you *really* doing?

Take a minute to check in with yourself. Maybe you need a break, a little extra rest, or just some time to breathe. You don’t have to have everything figured out today. ✨

One day at a time.

I’m starting a new online DBT group for teens in October with the The DBT Center!

The group will run for 6 weeks and focus on practical skills to help teens manage emotions, stress, relationships, and everyday challenges.

There are **7 spots available**, and insurance will be accepted.

If you’ve been looking for some extra support for your teen, **send me a message and I’d be happy to answer any questions or help you see if this group would be a good fit.**

The DBT Center is starting an in-person skills training program for teens! Dr. Latuch and I will be kicking off a 6-week program beginning early October. If you have a teen who you feel could use skills training, please send an email to me at [email protected].

We have from now until the end of this month to get this set up, so the earlier we can reach out to the families, the better. Once we get this established, it will continue on a rotational basis on each of the DBT skills areas. We are planning to cap the group at 8 kiddos.

I have 7 spots left! If you know of any teens that need extra help with emotions or effective communication or just help with general mental health I’d love to have them. It will be after school and I will be accepting insurance to help with cost.

Midweek Motivation

It’s Wednesday. If this week hasn’t gone exactly how you planned, that’s okay. 💛

You don’t have to have everything figured out right at this moment. As long as you’re moving forward, even if it’s just a tiny step, that’s all that matters.
✨ Progress over perfection.
✨ Rest is productive too.
✨ You’re doing better than you think.

Keep going. You’ve got this!

New week means a time to start planning out your week! Try building a list of things you want to get done this week. I know crossing them off no matter how small can feel like a huge win! Happy Monday! 😃

Sometimes you don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to give yourself permission to slow down, breathe, and take things one day at a time. Be gentle with yourself today. You’re doing better than you think.

Back-to-school season can bring a LOT of stress for kids, teens, and parents.

New routines, busy schedules, activities, and expectations can feel overwhelming.

Remember: it’s okay to take a step back, breathe, and give yourself some grace. You don’t have to have it all together all of the time.

With a new school year comes new routines, responsibilities, stress, and changes. If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy or if you’ve taken a break and have been meaning to get back into it, this is your sign. 💛

You don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to ask for support.

Therapy can give you a space to slow down, work through what’s been weighing on you, and learn tools and skills to better manage everyday life.

I’m currently accepting new clients ages 13+ and would love to support you wherever you are in your journey.

You don't have to wait until things feel unbearable to start therapy.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or simply like you're carrying too much on your own, therapy can help.
I currently have openings for teens and adults and would be happy to support you on your journey. If you're ready to take the first step, feel free to reach out to learn more or schedule an appointment.
