Today is an extra special day at Wichita Nephrology!

Twenty-nine years ago today, a shy young lady named Sheryn Sheryn walked through our doors for her very first day of work. I’m not sure she could have imagined then just how many lives she would touch over the next 29 years.

Since that day, Sheryn has greeted well over 10,000 patients with that wonderful smile of hers — the same smile our patients remember, recognize, and comment about all the time. For so many people, Sheryn has been the first friendly face they see when they come to Wichita Nephrology.

Wichita Nephrology simply would not be the place it is today without Sheryn’s kindness, dedication, loyalty, and the genuine care she shows our patients and all of us every single day.

Sheryn, thank you for 29 amazing years! We are incredibly lucky to have you, and I hope you know just how much you are appreciated by your WNG family.

We’re grateful to be part of continued progress in kidney care.

The Wichita Nephrology Clinical Research Institute contributed to the Phase III FIND-CKD clinical trial evaluating KERENDIA® (finerenone), which has met its primary endpoint—marking an important step forward for patients living with non-diabetic chronic kidney disease.

We would also like to recognize Dr. Jany Moussa, who served as the Primary Investigator for our site. His leadership and commitment to advancing clinical research continue to make a meaningful impact.

Thankful for our dedicated research team and especially for the patients who participate in clinical trials—none of this work is possible without them.

KERENDIA® (finerenone) met its primary endpoint demonstrating a statistically significant improvement vs. placebo in the estimated glomerular filtration rate.
