Today I want to highlight how the body stores emotional pain! We often think of pain as coming from bad posture, poor sleep, or overwork. While all of those things contribute to pain, so does emotional stress. ☮️
When we carry around stress with us, it can weigh us down and make everything else more challenging. Massage can help release stored emotions, reduce cortisol (which is that stress hormone we all love to hate), and help provide pain relief. 😅
Reiki is another way you can help release stored emotion, balance the body’s energy, and help ground yourself. If you haven’t tried energy work today, I am a level 1 Reiki practitioner and would love to work with you. Reiki is also great for anyone who thinks massage could be helpful, but are not big on being touched as energy work can be done with little to no physical contact. ⚡️
