Just dropped on Apple, Spotify and YouTube. Food addiction, ultra processed food recovery, and chronic fatigue are explored in this episode of Real Food Recovery Podcast™. This conversation focuses on the connection between sugar addiction, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and ultra processed food patterns, and how they impact energy and recovery. This is Part 1 of a 2 part conversation with Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum. Be sure to listen to Part 2 where we explore the science of happiness, mental health, and its direct impact on inflammation, energy, and recovery.

Real Food Recovery Podcast™ was created from a society wrestling with ultra-processed food addiction and the deep exhaustion that comes from feeling trapped in destructive patterns. After decades of obsession, frustration, and starting over, Paige Alexander holds this space to speak honestly about what it takes to heal, offering lived experience, grounded perspective, and practical tools to rebuild a life rooted in peace instead of chaos.

In this episode, Paige is joined by Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum to explore the connection between chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, low energy, and sugar addiction. This first part of the conversation focuses on understanding why so many people feel exhausted, inflamed, and stuck, and what is actually happening inside the body.

Dr. Teitelbaum is a leading expert in chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia, known for helping individuals restore energy, improve sleep, and reduce pain through practical, targeted approaches. Together, Paige and Dr. Teitelbaum break down how energy production, nutrient depletion, and ultra processed food patterns contribute to long term dysfunction. They also explore how sugar addiction and fatigue are often deeply connected, creating cycles that can feel difficult to escape without the right support and understanding.
