Let's start with a little tough news, but trust us, it leads to something really exciting.
As many of you know, Tall Trees has always been about community, quality, and transparency. Unfortunately, Kansas has recently changed how it interprets the Kansas Cosmetic, Food, and Drug Act, and despite no laws actually being changed, nearly every consumable h**p product is now considered illegal in the state.
On July 29th, our warehouse was unexpectedly raided by the KBI and Kechi Police Department after a Kechi Post Office employee reported a package that smelled like h**p. Even though the package included full lab results and the grower’s h**p license, our facility was searched and our legal products were seized. Our attorneys confirmed every single item matched federal h**p standards, but Kansas’ new interpretation overrides those facts.
While we strongly disagree with this stance, we’re choosing to move forward with positivity, creativity, and the same passion that built Tall Trees from the start.
And that brings us to the good news!
