Every day, Memorial's NICU team cares for some of our smallest and most vulnerable patients, providing support to babies and their families when they need it most. As home to the Coast's only Level III NICU, this dedicated team helps keep high-risk mothers and newborns close to home while delivering specialized care.

As Dawn Shepard, BSN, RN, Director of Women's & Children's Services, shared, "Our NICU team is driven by a genuine love for our babies and their families. They care for micro-preemies as young as 24 weeks of gestation with such calm, skill, and heart. I'm incredibly proud of them and all that they do."

Today, we're proud to recognize and thank our NICU team for the difference they make every day.
