🧺 Let’s talk about laundry… the chore that NEVER ends!

Whether you hang your clothes outside, toss them in the dryer, or have one of those fancy 2-in-1 machines, one thing never changes…

The folding just keeps coming! 🤣

But that’s part of life in a home. Laundry gets washed, towels get folded, closets get filled—and somehow there’s another basket waiting tomorrow.

Do you let it pile up? Fold it straight from the dryer? Complain the whole time? 😂 Or maybe you’ve learned to put on some music and simply enjoy the routine.

🇺🇸 Labor Day is about more than a long weekend.

It’s about the hands that built our homes, worked the farms, raised families, cared for neighbors, and helped build the communities we live in today.

At Your Home Wiggins, we’re lucky enough to sit around the table with a generation that knows a thing or two about hard work. ❤️

And today, we also recognize our caregivers — the ones cooking meals, helping with medications, cleaning, listening, laughing, and making sure our residents feel at home.

Hard work looks a little different in every generation, but one thing hasn’t changed: people taking care of people is work worth celebrating. 🇺🇸

A dinner from a caregiver can mean so much more than a meal.

Our beautiful caregiver Breanna took a rack of ribs home and, with her boyfriend, slow-smoked them to perfection. They brought dinner back to share with our residents, and the joy around the table was unforgettable.

The delicious BBQ smell filled the Wiggins house and lingered throughout the evening, bringing everyone together before the first bite was even taken. The meat fell right off the bone, the plates came back completely empty, and the stories started flowing — memories of BBQs, family gatherings, and meals that brought everyone together.

This is what makes the Wiggins house special. A place where caregivers don’t just provide care… they create moments, share love, and become part of the family.

Thank you, Breanna, for pouring your heart into our home and creating a memory our residents will cherish.
