Ellaurine celebrated her 99th birthday with her friends and family. Her family and staff created an amazing celebration by hosting an Elvis themed party including an Elvis impersonator.

We celebrated National Kool-Aid Days, by using Kool-Aid to make watercolor painting. Smells so yummy ! And we did a sampled a few different flavors to decide which one was our favorite. Did you know Kool-Aid was created in Hastings, Nebraska and they have an annual celebration in August.

Had fun painting 🖼️ our “sunflower at sunset” 🌅 Surprised them with some real sunflowers 🌻 Jonas next month and keep an eye out on Facebook for our next event in September theme -TBA

We wrapped up Elvis week with a blue Hawaiian theme. We got another stamp for our Wilber Care Center passports. The Hawaiian 🌺 stamp. We watched the movie 🎥 “Blue Hawaii “ Enjoyed blue Hawaiian punch and blue Hawaiian cocktails.🍹 We also did a yummy sweet treat to mimic his favorite fried peanut 🥜 butter Nana 🍌 sandwich 🥪 . We took vanilla ice cream cups. Topped it with peanut butter chips and dried banana chips. As well as fun photo backdrop.
