What is perinatal psychosis?

Perinatal psychosis (PP) is a serious mental health issue that can happen during pregnancy, after a loss or after birth. It most often starts in the first few weeks after birth, but can also begin later or after stopping breastfeeding.

Perinatal psychosis happens in about 1-2 out of every 1,000 individuals.

If you experience perinatal psychosis, you are not alone. Treatment is available and recovery is possible. 💜
