Today, we celebrated our wonderful CNA, Gabby, and the sweet baby girl she is expecting with a berry sweet baby shower! It was a joy to shower Gabby with love, well wishes, and excitement as she prepares to welcome her little one.

🌭🎉 We wrapped up CNA Week at Ridge Valley with a fun-filled cookout in honor of our amazing CNAs!

It was the perfect way to celebrate a week dedicated to recognizing the compassion, dedication, and hard work our CNAs bring to our residents every day. From great food to great company, the day was filled with appreciation, laughter, and well-deserved recognition.

Last Thursday was “Thirsty Thursday” at Ridge! Our CNAs and staff were treated to a visit from the Kona Ice Truck out of Hickory, NC. It was the perfect refreshing treat on a warm day and a great way to show appreciation for all their hard work!

🚗💦 What a fun-filled day at Ridge Valley!

Our Activities Department hosted an exciting "Car Wash" experience in the courtyard for our residents, and it was full of laughter, smiles, and great memories. Residents enjoyed cooling off while staff helped create a truly special experience for everyone involved.

The fun continued with refreshing popsicles for our residents and an energetic water balloon fight among staff members! Days like these remind us that joy, connection, and a little bit of fun go a long way.

CNA Week is off to an amazing start at Ridge Valley! 🎉💙

To kick off the celebration, our Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Dietary Manager prepared and served breakfast to our incredible CNAs as a small thank-you for all they do each day.

The fun didn't stop there! Our CNAs got the chance to dunk the Administrator and DON, while residents, staff, and family members gathered to cheer them on and enjoy the excitement. It was a day filled with laughter, appreciation, and well-deserved recognition for the caregivers who make such a difference in the lives of our residents.

Last Friday, members of our Ridge Valley team proudly participated in the Wilkes County Elder Abuse Awareness Walk in recognition of Elder Abuse Awareness Day. 💜

Our Administrator, Business Office Manager, Maintenance Team, and Respiratory Director joined community members in raising awareness and showing support for the safety, dignity, and well-being of older adults.

We are honored to stand together in promoting awareness and advocating for our seniors. Thank you to everyone who participated in this important event!

A sweet surprise made last week even better at Ridge Valley! 🍦💙

Our Director of Nursing treated both staff and residents to impromptu ice cream, bringing plenty of smiles, laughter, and a little extra sweetness to the day. It's the small moments like these that make our community so special.
