Many people come in expecting us to focus only on where it hurts. What we actually look at is the bigger picture: how the spine is moving as a whole, where restrictions are creating compensations, and what the nervous system has been working around. That full assessment is usually where the most useful answers are. If you have been curious about starting care, we would be glad to have that conversation.

The nervous system is not just a passive relay for pain signals. It actively regulates how your organs function, how efficiently you recover, and how well your body coordinates movement. Regular chiropractic care helps reduce interference in the nervous system, which is part of why patients often report improvements that go well beyond the area they originally came in for.

The sacroiliac joint, where the base of the spine meets the pelvis, is one of the most commonly overlooked sources of lower back and hip discomfort. It absorbs a significant amount of the force generated during walking and standing, and when it loses its normal movement, the surrounding muscles often compensate in ways that create tension further up the spine. A targeted adjustment to this joint can produce noticeable relief.

Some people assume they need to be in significant pain before chiropractic care is worth pursuing. In reality, many patients find it most valuable as a preventive tool. Addressing small movement restrictions before they become chronic problems is one of the most practical investments you can make in long-term physical health. We would be happy to talk through what care might look like for you.

Carrying your phone at waist height and looking down at it repeatedly throughout the day creates a cumulative load on the cervical spine that adds up significantly over time. Most people don't realize how much heavier the head effectively becomes as the neck tilts forward… and the further it tilts, the greater the strain on the muscles and joints supporting it. Raising the screen closer to eye level is one of the simplest adjustments you can make for long-term neck health.

A Lancet study correlates grip strength with all-cause mortality (risk of dying). For every 12 lb (5 kg) decrease in grip strength, there was a 16% increase in all-cause mortality. Stated more positively, for every 12 lb increased grip strength, there is a 16% decrease in all-cause mortality.
