The Spring Boss & Queen tournaments just ended & the winners are: Heide Cieurzo (Queen of the Green) and Jim Pierce (Boss of the Moss).

Our recent Spring Golf Fling enjoyed spectacular weather as 23 determined golfers attacked the Jamestown front 9 at Williamsburg National. We welcomed newcomers Paul & Heide Cieurzo and Phil Stowell as well as Hal Greenman, Dan Sherlock, & Ed Dixon.

Tournament Director John Miner awarded prizes to the 3 top teams & four individual skill winners, using the stats provided by Bill Payne. The first place team won overall by 2 strokes with Team Captain Jack Hook along with Stan Yackel, Phil Stowell and Carol Mitchell. Second place went to the team headed by Jim Baldridge, with members Steve Haley & Gerry Gallagher. Third place went to Mac
Armstrong’s team, with members Dan Sherlock, Art Sommers, & Attahjundwe Obiajulu.

The longest drive winners were Paul Cieurzo and Sue Rennagel. The closest hit to the green went to John Miner & Lew Mabie.
