As I celebrate 24 years as a pediatrician, I’m grateful for the privilege of caring for children and families in the greater Williamsburg area. I work at Pediatric Associates of Williamsburg, part of CHKD, and when I’m not in the office, you’ll find me swimming, rowing, or volunteering with the Queens Lake swim team, Bruton High swim team, and Williamsburg Boat Club. A lifelong resident of the 69t

h District, I grew up in Queens Lake, attended local schools, and graduated as Valedictorian and Senior Class President from Bruton High in 1984. After earning a Chemical Engineering degree from UVA and working in the field, I found my calling in medicine, graduating as Valedictorian and Class President from MCV in Richmond. Since returning to Williamsburg in 2001, I’ve dedicated my life to my patients, my family, and my community. I’m blessed to share this journey with my wife Kristin, our four amazing children, and the neighbors who make Queens Lake such a special place. I’m passionate about making our community a thriving place for future generations, and I’m excited to serve the 69th District as a dedicated advocate and leader.

In response to the recent Presidential Executive Order pertaining to childhood vaccine recommendations, the Virginia Department of Health is reaffirming its previously stated commitment to vaccines as an essential tool in protecting the health of children, their families, and their communities.

🔹The Presidential Executive Order does not change vaccine recommendations or school immunization requirements in Virginia.
🔹VDH continues to recommend that children are vaccinated in accordance with the American Academy of Pediatrics 2026 Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule. (Read it at https://ow.ly/LI6s50ZyIaG)
🔹VDH expects that healthcare providers will continue to rely on their clinical training and professional judgment and consult information published by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians when engaging in shared clinical decision-making with parents, caregivers, and patients.

Started the day with Newport News Democrats, launched a canvass with Delegate Jessica Anderson and Shannon Taylor, then stopped by Habitat ReStore - Williamsburg for their Sleigh Hunger food drive.

The food drive is going until 4 pm - when we stopped by the energy was through the roof. If you have anything to spare; go see out friends at the restore to drop off supplies. See the flyer for their most needed items.
