Do we claim to be a full service spa? No. Can we rise to the request? Well, our residents seem to think so. Spa day was a hit with this crowd. They enjoyed facials and mani/pedi’s with all the bells and whistles. (J/k, no bells or whistles. It was a babbling brook and lavender aromatherapy)!

Hey Siri, play “Thrift Shop” by Macklemore!
Today, our residents got to experience a little thrift shopping fun of their own! Each resident received a $20 voucher to “purchase” any items they wanted—and let’s just say, they were ready to shop! With “$20 in (their) pockets” and a whole shop full of goodies to choose from, our residents had a wonderful time browsing, picking out their favorites, and enjoying a little retail therapy.

***THERAPY SPOTLIGHT***

Last week we celebrated TWO of our patients who successfully completed our Safe Transitions Therapy Program and returned home!
Through dedication, hard work, and the support of our amazing therapy team, both Ms. Patsy Davis and Ms. Linda Carter worked toward improving their strength, balance, endurance, mobility, and independence with daily activities. The Safe Transitions Home Program is about more than therapy; it’s about preparing our patients to feel safe, confident, and ready to return to the life they love. Congratulations to both of you on reaching your goals! From rehab to home…. Mission accomplished!

We wanted to share a quick FYI for our resident’s families and the community. We have recently transitioned to a new phone system at the facility. As with any new technology, our staff are learning to become familiar with the new system and its’ features. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we work through this transition.
