This is achieved by living the following Values:

CUSTOMER SERVICE means consistently meeting or, at every opportunity, exceeding the

Quality is essential, cannot be delegated, and impacts everything throughout our organization. TEAMWORK means every employee, physician, and volunteer continuously works together toward the common goal of providing the highest quality of service. CONCERN FOR PEOPLE means that we at the hospital possess and display concern for the dignity, self-worth, well-being, and contributions of all. By practicing this value, we recognize the importance that each of us plays in providing the highest quality of service. INTEGRITY is doing what is right by pursuing a high standard of conduct and honesty in all situations. Overview:

The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place opened in April of 2012 on the established campus of Williamsburg Place near Historic Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. The 57-bed, 33,500-square foot inpatient psychiatric facility offers services based on principles of milieu therapy which provide a safe, supportive and secure environment for individuals to return to a stable level of functioning and live life to the fullest. Each individual is assessed by a team of professionals led by a psychiatrist to determine that they meet the medically necessary criteria for inpatient level of care. Older Adult Program

The older adult program is designed specifically for adults ages 55 and over. Presenting symptoms may include behavioral disturbances, severe depression with suicidal thoughts, anxiety, hallucinations and delusions. Medical specialists may be consulted to manage underlying illnesses that are contributing to the behavioral, emotional and cognitive instability. A comprehensive discharge plan is designed to ensure that each individual has the services and support to continue to live independently, return to a supportive living environment or facilitate placement in a setting that will maintain their safety and optimal level of functioning. Acute Program

The Acute program offers an intensive level of care to individuals who are an immediate danger to themselves or others or experiencing severe dysfunction due to a psychiatric condition. Treatment is client centered and designed to assist them to regain control of their behaviors through participation in individual and group therapy, therapeutic activities and psychopharmacology. Whenever possible family and significant others will be involved to ensure a safe return to the community and to establish outpatient services needed for ongoing treatment. Military Personnel and Dependents

This program is designed to treat psychiatric conditions facing active duty service members who may be suffering from psychiatric problems. Services are also available to dependents who struggle to cope with issues facing family members who are currently serving or returning veterans. Clinical staff will work closely with the service member’s referring military treatment facility to ensure treatment falls within the military counseling guidelines and protocols. Mood Disorder

The mood disorder inpatient unit at the Pavilion at Williamsburg Place is committed to treating acutely compromised adult patients with mood disorders. During their stay, patients will receive psycho-therapeutic and psycho-pharmacologic treatment in a secure, safe environment to help them recover and prepare for their transition back to community life. The Campus

The Campus of Williamsburg Place is home to The Farley Center, a nationally known addiction treatment center, and The Villages, semi-private living accommodations for individuals in recovery. Safety Information
