Would you like to learn more about what that means and maybe even a few tips or strategies to help yourself or others? If so, you've come to the right place! I have been a licensed clinical social worker for nearly 20 years and have spent the majority of my career focused on supporting neurodivergent individuals. I create and share content that is science backed and focused on supporting the journey of a neurodivergent individual in a world that is designed for a neurotypical person.

Camp day 4 was jam packed!

Shire's Ms. Tiffany led the grounding activity to start the day.

☮️ Social Emotional Learning - Today's focus was on Compromising and Ms. Tiffany read the book, The Great Compromise. After, the group partnered up and they had some compromising to do with who's items to use for the Tic Tac Toe game and who was going to be x (sticks) or o (rocks) with their Nature Tic Tac Toe board.

Day 1 of Hearts of the Herd Summer camp for K-5 was a blast! Tiffany Shaw LCSW-C Eagala Certified Equine Assisted Therapist is working along side this amazing non-profit in Frederick. This is Tiffany's most favorite time of the year getting to spend a full week teaching Social Emotional Learning to these great kids. Mrs. Beth the program founder is teaching amazing lessons to combat the summer slump with her expertise in teaching and Equine Assisted Learning instructor! Stay tuned for the daily updates
