When we went to check the mail today, there was a strange tube in it…

We opened it up and found this cool fidget spinner with a Random Acts of 3D Kindness paper!!

We can’t wait to put it back into the world for others to find :)

So here at Divine, we looked up some information and learned about her :)

Did you know:
Amelia was born on July 24, 1897 in Atchison Kansas. She disappeared on July 2, 1937 over the Pacific Ocean while attempting to fly across the Pacific Ocean. Amelia was declared dead on July 5, 1939 just over 2 years after her disappearance.

She was born to Samuel 'Edwin' and Amelia 'Amy' Earhart. She was named after her grandmothers, Amelia and Mary. Amelia had one sibling, Grace Muriel (1899-1998). Amelia was known in her younger years by her nicknames, Meeley and Millie. And in her later years the press called her "Queen of the Air". Amelia and her sister were tomboys who enjoy worms, moths, katydids, and tree toads.

Amelia was homeschooled until she was 12 years old in the 7th grade. She then started her first year in public schools when she moved to Iowa with her family.

1917: Amelia visited her sister in Canada where she received training as a nurse aide with the Red Cross. She then worked with Voluntary Aid Detachment at the Spadina Military Hospital.
12-29-1920: Amelia went on her 1st passenger ride in a plane piloted by Frank Hawks.
Jan 1921: Amelia employed Neta Snook as her instructor and started flying classes.
Mid 1921: Amelia purchased a second hand plane she called 'The Canary'.
10-22-1922: Amelia flew the Airster to 14,000 feet setting the world record for female piolets.
5-16-1923: Amelia was the 16th woman to get a piolet license.
1928: Amelia made her flight across the Atlantic, in August she was the 1st woman to fly solo across North America and back.
4-8-1931: She set the world altitude record at 18,451 feet in a Pitcairn PCA-2 Auto gyro
1935: January 11, Amelia was the first to fly solo from Honolulu to California. April 19 she flew solo from LA to Mexico City. Both of these trips were completed in her Lockheed 5c Vega she called "Old Bessie the Fire Horse".

As many of you know, we lost Autumn on June 9th.

At our car show on the July 10th, we held a moment of silence for Autumn and released pink & purpe balloons in memory of her.

Thank you Rod, for putting this together.

Autumn, we miss you. Thank you for watching over us.

We couldn't have done it without you!

Congrats to Dennis, Mark, Ryan, and Rob for receiving a trophy. A special congrats to all our kids who made Derby cars and received a trophy as well!
