Fish is one of my favorite foods. What few people may realize is that fish is one of the only few natural whole-food sources which actually contain both bioavailable EPA and DHA 3-omega fatty acids which supports the vital structure of your brain and nervous system, also benefiting the heart and eyes. This amazing food is also chock full of vitamin D, selenium, and major anti-inflammatory properties. One of my favorite ways to cook fish particularly haddock is on parchment paper wrapped snuggly with a drizzle of olive oil, fresh cilantro, parsley, lemon slice, ground mustard, garlic powder, and cooks within 20 minutes, generally 🐟🐠🎏🐡

As we move into summer, many people notice shifts in energy, digestion, and sleep.
Warmer temperatures, longer days, and changes in routine can all affect how we feel.

This is a great time to return to the basics:

‱ Hydration
‱ Fresh, seasonal foods
‱ Regular movement
‱ Restorative sleep
‱ Stress management

Small daily habits can help you feel more energized and balanced as the season changes.

If your body has been feeling a little off, this may be the perfect time for a reset.

Acupuncture and herbal medicine can help support circulation, digestion, and overall well-being naturally.

Your body is ALWAYS trying to communicate with you.

Low energy, headaches, brain fog, digestive issues, and dry skin can all be signs that your body needs more support.

Sometimes the answer is surprisingly simple: better hydration, nourishing foods, quality sleep, and stress management. Hydration plays a vital role in nearly every function of the body—from circulation and digestion to energy and mental clarity.

When you start listening to your body and supporting its basic needs, you may be surprised by how much better you feel.

If you’ve been feeling “off,” don’t ignore the signals. Small changes can make a meaningful difference.

Beets are one of my favorite root vegetables. They are full of dietary nitrates which naturally lower blood pressure and folate which is essential for both cell and tissue function, and its vibrant color represents all the antioxidants which keeps us young and reduces inflammation. I waste no part of it. The stems and leaves are both edible and can be gently sautĂ©ed with a favorite vinegar accompanied with sliced almonds or in a salad. What I do not use at the time I freeze. The tips I slice off and use as compost . this wonderful superfood greatly supports the yin of the body according to eastern medicine and keeps our internal organs, healthy. Root vegetables are also a main staple for the blue zone areas of the world which indicates long life and longevity. đŸȘ· đŸȘ·

Running on empty?

When energy is low, we often reach for more caffeine or sugar. But true energy starts with supporting the body’s foundation.

Hydration, sleep, nourishment, movement, and stress management all play an important role in how you feel each day. When these basics are in place, your body can function more efficiently and energy often improves naturally.

Acupuncture can also help support the body’s natural balance and may be beneficial for stress, sleep, digestion, and fatigue.

Sometimes feeling better starts with listening to what your body has been asking for all along.

Energy isn’t something you force — it’s something you support.

When your body has what it needs, energy shows up naturally.

Not in spikes
but in steady, clear, consistent ways.

The basics matter more than people think:
💧 Hydration
đŸŠâ€â™€ïžMovement
🍎Nourishment
đŸ’€Rest

When those are in place, your system doesn’t have to fight to keep up.

If you’ve been feeling off, it’s not about doing more — it’s about supporting your body better. Need help?

You don’t have to feel “bad enough” to take care of your health.

A lot of people wait until something is really off — low energy, poor sleep, constant tension — before they start paying attention.

But your body is always giving small signals long before that point.

Subtle fatigue. Feeling off. Not quite as clear or steady as usual.

Those things matter too.

Taking care of your body before things escalate isn’t excessive — it’s what keeps everything functioning the way it should.
