Just a reminder that we have switched over to our summer office hours. We are now open Mon-Fri 8AM - 4PM and are no longer open on Saturdays. As always, there is a doctor on-call after hours and on weekends for any urgent questions. Have a fun-filled and healthy summer!☀️🌻🍉🕶️

Ticks can transmit bacteria that can cause severe illness. Preventing tick bites, removing ticks from human and pets and making yards an unfriendly place for ticks to live are the best ways to reduce your risk of getting sick.

▪️ Avoid wooded and brushy areas with high grass and leaf litter. Walk in center of trails.
▪️ Wear long pants and long shirts; tuck your shirt into your pants and your pants into socks.
▪️ Treat clothing & gear with products containing 0.5% permethrin.
▪️ Use EPA-registered insect repellents. Follow product instructions.

After you come indoors:

▪️ Check your clothing, gear & pets for ticks.
▪️ Shower or bathe soon after being outdoors.
▪️ Check yourself, children and pets for ticks after being outdoors. Use a mirror to view all parts of your body.
