CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, a Member of CommonSpirit has awarded this year’s $33,500 philanthropic grant to Eckert Youth Home in Williston, ND. The grant, part of the CommonSpirit Health Community Health Improvement Grants program, is specifically designed to address pressing health disparities and significantly enhance the health and well-being of vulnerable and underserved populations right here in our community.
“The Community Health Improvement Grants are a tangible example of how CommonSpirit Health is living its mission and investing to address our communities’ demonstrated health needs,” said Michael Bilton, System Director, Community Health/Community Benefit. “By financially supporting and in many cases actively partnering with local organizations in the communities served by our hospitals, we are able to help strengthen prevention, access to care, and vital services for people in crisis.”
This local initiative by CHI St. Alexius Health Williston is part of a broader commitment by CommonSpirit Health, which awarded a total of $15 million to 329 organizations nationwide.
