Dry needling and acupuncture both use thin needles, but they are not the same service. Neither should be reduced to simply putting a needle where something hurts.
Dry needling is performed within a physical therapy framework. Tami uses clinical assessment, your symptoms, and how you move to determine whether specific muscles or connective tissues may be contributing to the concern being addressed. At Transcend, dry needling is guided by clinical reasoning and extensive specialized training.
