Abstract art has been on our minds lately and we were excited to create intricate patterns on each canvas!

With the fall season quickly approaching, we're prepping for our s'mores making events! 🍫 🔥

We discovered these cute little boxes for residents, associates, and guests to take their s'mores on the go. We may have also treated ourselves to a sweet treat or two.

Everyone loved putting them together, and our resident, Freida’s, grandson was able to join us! 👵

National Root Beer Float day was August 6th, and of course we had to enjoy this classic sweet treat! 🍺🍦

The afternoon also came along with reminiscing on fond memories of visits to the local ice cream shop. ✨

Homemade desserts is a resident favorite! 🥧✨

This time we were focused on the no-bake Oreo Sand Pie. It uses crushed Golden Oreos to mimic beach sand and is layered with a creamy vanilla pudding.

Our folks couldn't stop talking about how it reminded them of stories baking for their families. Sally and Bertha even said it was the perfect beach treat for summer! 😋

Using colorful blooms, we created and designed butterflies, ice cream cones, and of course pineapples. 🌷 🦋

First, we sketched onto cardboard, then used a variety of brought flowers and textures to bring the designs to life.

One of our residents, Irene, even said her flower-covered ice cream looked like it was topped with sprinkles! 🍨

August 2nd was , and we had so much fun creating our very on individual ice cream sandwiches. 🍨 🍪

Starting with a chocolate chip cookie, our residents picked out their favorite flavors of ice cream and rolled the outside in chocolate chips or sprinkles.

Everyone was amazed at how simple it was to recreate! 👏
