WOW. What an incredible turnout for our Memorial Day Car Show at Champlain Valley Senior Community! 🇺🇸🏁🚗

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to every single person who came out to support our residents and make this event such a memorable success. From the stunning classic cars and race cars to the live music, smiling faces, and wonderful conversations, the entire day was filled with joy, laughter, and community spirit.

Our residents absolutely loved every minute of it. Many spent the afternoon reminiscing about cars they once owned, sharing stories from years past, listening to music, and admiring the beautiful vehicles up close. Seeing the excitement on their faces made all the hard work worth it and then some. ❤️

Thank you to all of the incredible vehicle owners who took the time to bring their cars and share them with us. Your kindness and enthusiasm truly made the day special. Our residents voted on their favorite car and the winner was....the 48 Plymouth!! You will be receiving a special thank you in the mail soon!!🤍

Thank you as well to Tyler, for providing such a fun atmosphere!🎤🎶

Last, but certainly not least, a HUGE thank you to our staff, families, and community members who helped bring this event to life.💙🙏🏽

The parking lot was packed with horsepower, laughter, music, and memories that will last a lifetime ✨

We are beyond grateful for the support and cannot wait to do it again!

As we gear up for our Memorial Day Car Show this Saturday, I thought I’d share some meaningful moments from the last two weeks here at Champlain Valley Senior Community. ❤️🤍💙

Lately, our days have been filled with so many sweet little moments: celebrating our wonderful mothers, showing appreciation for our amazing nurses, sharing treats and laughter, visiting with the chicks we incubated and hatched (who we have sadly rehomed), and soaking up some sunshine during a peaceful river walk. 🌸🐣🌿

Our residents have shared smiles, stories, laughs, and plenty of little moments that remind us how special this community truly is. Whether it was gathering around the table, enjoying a treat, taking in the fresh air by the river, or simply being in each other's company- these are the moments that matter most.💛

A huge thank you to our amazing staff, residents, families, and everyone who helps make days like these possible.

Now we’re getting ready for another exciting day ahead: our Memorial Day Car Show this Saturday! We can’t wait for cars, music, community, and a whole lot of fun. 🚗🎶✨

Sunshine, music, puppy cuddles, fresh nails, ice cream, and a little friendly co****le competition… just another day full of smiles at Champlain Valley Senior Community ☀️💛

Our residents were able to soak up the beautiful weather, enjoy time together, sing along to favorite songs, meet a very special furry visitor who I now plan to bring every Thursday to spend time with your loved ones, and showing off their game skills outside! 🎶🐾🌸

Moments like these are what make our community so special - laughter in the courtyard, conversations between friends, happy dances during music, and the simple joy of being together❤️

We are especially excited to have live music provided by Tyler, who previously worked at CVSC! Our residents absolutely adore him, and we know he’ll have everyone singing along and smiling all afternoon long. 🎶✨

Hello everyone! 👋🏼

For those who may not know me yet, my name is Layla, and I recently stepped into the role of Activities Director here at Champlain Valley Senior Community where I was formerly an HHA, Med Tech, and ACC! I am so very excited to bring fresh energy, creativity, laughter, and meaningful moments to our residents each and every day. 💛

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been keeping busy with scenic drives, arts & crafts, nail and spa days, games, music, birthday celebrations, and today’s Margaritaville-themed Cinco De Mayo celebration was definitely one for the books! 🌴🍹🎉 (I can neither confirm, nor deny that the congo line to dinner may become a permanent part of our residents routines 💃🏽🕺🏽🤣)

One of my favorite parts of this role is creating joyful experiences and seeing our residents smile, laugh, connect, and make memories together. I’m looking forward to sharing more special moments with all of you right here on our page so families can continue to feel connected to their loved ones and our community.
