Pregnancy comes with constant changes, and it is not always easy to decide whether a symptom is expected.
A mild symptom that resolves may be common. A sudden, severe, persistent, or noticeably different symptom deserves attention. Bleeding, leaking fluid, significantly decreased movement from baby, severe headache, vision changes, chest pain, or difficulty breathing should be reported promptly.
Your obstetric team would rather hear from you and help determine the next step than have you ignore something that concerns you.
