Still taking this one in.

Stepping in as Director of Sports Medicine for the and at its inaugural event was a defining moment in my career. History was made.

This wasn’t just coverage, this was full build and execute. From planning to real-time decisions, leading under pressure, and setting the tone from day one.

Being able to build my medical team from my nonprofit, , and bring them onto a global stage…that meant everything.
(shoutout to my girl and incredible doc )

This wasn’t about showing up. It was about setting the standard for athlete care and helping shape what this looks like moving forward.

I’ve worked a lot of events, but this one hit different.

To the founders, the crew, the athletes- thank you for the trust.

Grateful for the growth. Grateful for the moment.
And fully stepping into what’s next.

I had the honor of writing about a topic that deeply resonates with me. Over the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with the incredible adaptive athletes of USA Fencing. Their resilience, insight, and unwavering accountability have challenged my perspective and expanded my understanding in powerful ways. 🌍✨ What an experience. Honored to be representing Team USA at the Paralympic Games as a sports chiropractor for our Parafencing team. Working with these incredible athletes is an inspiring reminder of the power of resilience, determination, and the human spirit.

~ 40 sports med providers, 240 athletes, 4 chiropractors, 2 female chiropractors (both WOC).

As I return stateside, my ethos remains the same. I aspire there to be an increase in sports chiropractors, especially those of color- to look like the athletes we treat. We have a unique place in sports medicine, we are instrumental in providing support to these elite athletes. I never claim to be ”save lives”, I do believe we “save careers”. Injury prevention, rehabilitation, chiropractic manipulation- all holistic ways we care for these athletes.

Here’s to pushing limits, breaking barriers, and achieving greatness together. Let’s go, Team USA!
