Health Alert: Common Plastic Chemicals Linked to PCOS. Polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal disorder characterized by enlarged ovaries containing small cysts that can affect reproductive health. This suggests a possible association between bisphenol exposure and PCOS.

Your denial management workflows are strong. Downcoding slips right past them.

When a payer pays a claim at a lower level than you billed, there's no denial code, no work queue, no owner. The claim reads as "paid" so it never surfaces. But small per-claim reductions compound across volume into real revenue you earned and never collected.

In this session, the revenue cycle team at ApolloMD breaks down how downcoding shows up in day-to-day operations and how they built visibility into expected vs. actual reimbursement, uncovering $46.6M in downcoded payments.

Even Modest Amounts of Regular Exercise May Support Brain Health.

Cerebrovascular disease refers to conditions that affect blood flow and blood vessels in the brain, potentially contributing to cognitive decline and dementia. A recent study found that patients with cerebrovascular disease who walked for 15 to 30 minutes several times a weekโ€”which may improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and support vascular healthโ€”were less likely to progress to dementia than their inactive peers.
