As the school year begins and summer comes to a close, we want to extend our appreciation to all of the high school students who dedicated their time to serve Veterans at the Wilmington VA Medical Center this summer.

These students brought energy and professionalism to the Wilmington VA whether they were assisting Veterans to their appointments safely, administrative services, our community living center or spending time listening to the stories of those who served our nation. Their commitment made an impact on patient care and safety.

We are proud of the positive difference these young volunteers made, and grateful for the respect and kindness they showed our Veterans. Thank you for choosing to spend part of your summer in service to others and have a great school year!
