🍭 Summer Treats Without the Sweet Tooth Trouble! ☀️🦷

Summer is filled with birthday parties, carnivals, vacations, and special treats. The good news? Your child can enjoy all the fun while still protecting their smile!

Here are a few simple tips from the team at Pike Creek Dental

🍬 Choose one treat time instead of snacking on sweets throughout the day. Fewer sugar exposures are better for little teeth.

🥤 Use a straw when enjoying sugary drinks to reduce contact with teeth.

💧 Rinse with water after treats to help wash away sugar and acids.

🍃 Chew sugar-free gum (if your child is old enough) to increase saliva and naturally protect teeth.

🪥 Brush before bed and don't forget to floss. A little extra care after a day of treats goes a long way!

We're collecting new and gently used men's, women's, and children's shoes in all sizes and for every season.

Pike Creek Dental, powered by Freedom Dental Health, is excited to be part of National Night Out for the second year in a row!

We're proud to join the New Castle County Division of Police for an evening that celebrates community, connection, and the people who work every day to keep us safe. We love opportunities like this to get out of the office, meet our neighbors, and support the organizations that make Delaware such a special place to call home.

If you're coming to Delcastle Recreational Park, be sure to stop by our table and say hello to Chloe! She'll have fun giveaways and would love to meet you and your family.

Welcome back, Patti! 🎈🦷

Today we were so excited to welcome Patti back to the Pike Creek Dental family! And if you know Patti, you know her sister Amy wasn't about to let the day start without making it special. She surprised her with balloons in her room, and it was the perfect way to kick off her first day back.

We're incredibly lucky to have these two amazing ladies on our team. Dentistry truly runs in their blood. Their dad was the owner and operator of Dodd Dental Labs for 50 years,a Delaware institution, and they continue that family legacy by caring for our patients with the same dedication and heart.

Today, the Pike Creek Dental team gathered to celebrate all of our July birthdays and work anniversaries...and there were a lot of them! 🎉 As you can see, it felt like we were celebrating someone almost every day this month.

We're grateful for moments like these, when we can step away from our busy schedules, gather around the table, share a meal, laugh together, and celebrate the people who make Pike Creek Dental such a special place to be.

Since we believe in supporting local whenever we can, lunch was a delicious deconstructed taco bar from The Well Coffeehouse and Marketplace . It was filled with all of our favorites and was the perfect way to celebrate our amazing team.

We're thankful for the friendships we've built over the years. Coworkers become family, and it's those relationships that make coming to work every day something to smile about. 💚
