🌿 Short on time? Make time for THYME.

Sometimes life feels like there simply isn’t enough time.

But what if we stopped fighting the clock and stepped into Divine Timing?

🌿 THYME Radiance Mist
Divine Timing • Presence • Abundance • Flow

Created from my work with nature and the energetic qualities I associate with the plants themselves, Thyme is an invitation to come back to the present moment.

No past to chase.
No future to hurry toward.
Only the eternal NOW, unfolding every step of the way.

Healing with Horses!

Here we are at the tail end of summer and the close of another RIDER Methodā„¢ cycle, which carried us from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Now we’re off into another cycle of the seasons, drawing closer to nature, to our horses, and to one another. And when Memorial Day comes around again, we’ll be ready to begin with a head start. 🌿

As we move with the seasons, perhaps we can also become a little more aware of something beautiful: we do indeed have glimpses of heaven right here on Earth, and so much of what we love is already here.

That is certainly cause for celebration this Labor Day. ā¤ļøšŸ¤šŸ’™

Thank you to everyone who has traveled along with us.

RIDER Methodā„¢ 2 The Skippy Summer

As we drew closer to the natural world through our spiritual awareness, we created our own vortex of healing energy.

And from the garden, I brought together parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme, a little nod to the beautiful Scarborough Fair made famous by Simon & Garfunkel in 1966.

This summer has been particularly special to me. I’ve come to think of it as my Skippy Summer.

It has been a season of spending time with my animals, working with the plants and essences around me, and growing into an even deeper appreciation for the beauty of the natural world and for everyone and everything within it.

Sometimes healing is also about becoming quiet enough to notice what has been surrounding us all along: the herbs growing in the garden, the animals beside us, the changing seasons, and the gift of simply being here.

Every day is a gift. Stepping into a new world.

The Rider Method Journey… Right in Our Own Backyard

As we come to the end of our Rider Method journey, I find myself right here, in my own backyard.

Under this beautiful flowering tree. Practicing yoga. Breathing. Watching the birds. Tending the herbs. Sharing the space with Frankie. Simply noticing the life that is happening all around me.

This beautiful tree belongs to my neighbor, but its branches reach over the fence and create shade and beauty in our yard. Its tiny golden flowers fall everywhere, even on my car and into Frankie’s little pool.

I asked ChatGPT to help me identify it, and it appears to be a golden rain tree. And I thought, how perfect.

Nature isn’t always neat and manicured. It drops leaves and flowers. It crosses property lines. It grows wild. It asks us to live alongside it rather than control every inch of it.

Love thy neighbor as thyself.

For me, that includes our relationship with the natural world and with all the creatures who share it with us.

My hope for everyone who has followed along on this Rider Method journey is that you’ve come away with an even deeper appreciation for nature, animals, and the sacred relationships available to us when we slow down enough to notice them.

You don’t have to go far to begin.

Sometimes the lesson is waiting right in your own backyard.

🌿 Completing Our RIDER Method Summer Journey 🌿

As we complete this year’s RIDER Methodā„¢ program, another beautiful layer of the work has revealed itself: inner child healing.

The RIDER Method began as a way to explore healing through nature, horses, energy, intuition, and hands-on connection. This summer, we discovered that the journey is not only about learning new techniques. It is also about remembering the joyful, creative, and curious parts of ourselves that may have been waiting quietly to be invited back into the light.

Some colleagues in massage therapy or equine bodywork may consider my hands-on approach and energy work old-fashioned. I see it differently.

I am refining and deepening the knowledge I have gathered throughout more than 35 years of professional practice, beginning in 1990. Experience teaches us which traditions deserve to be carried forward, which practices are ready to evolve, and how intuition and careful observation can work alongside continuing education.

The RIDER Methodā„¢ brings these elements together:

R – Rebalance
I – Investigate
D – Detect
E – Energize
R – Release

And sometimes, what we are ready to release is the belief that healing must always be serious or difficult.

Healing can also be dancing.

Healing can be singing.

Healing can be listening to a fairy tale, walking beside a horse, gathering stones, noticing the music an animal enjoys, or allowing the inner child to feel safe enough to play again.

As we bring this summer’s program to a close, we release our inner child to move freely, express joy, and feel gratitude for this beautiful season and the life unfolding around us.

Each day offers another opportunity to notice wonder, receive wisdom from nature, and remember how joyful it truly is to be alive.
