September 8th is 988 Day, a reminder that support is available for anyone experiencing emotional distress, a mental health crisis, or simply a moment that feels too heavy to carry alone.

You don’t need to have the perfect words. You don’t need to know exactly what you’re feeling. And you don’t need to wait until things feel “bad enough” to reach out.

Call, text, or chat 988 anytime, 24/7, to connect with the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

Whatever your reason, reaching out is reason enough.

Labor Day is your reminder that rest is productive, too.

You don’t have to earn a break. You don’t have to make the most of every free minute. And you definitely don’t have to feel guilty for slowing down.

This long weekend, give yourself permission to rest, reset, and make a little more room for your mental health.

Happy Labor Day from Capeside Psychiatry. 🇺🇸
