Our team of board-certified and fellowship-trained specialists includes 32 physicians, 31 physician assistants and 37 physical therapists, all dedi

cated to delivering high quality, compassionate patient care. Today, we have 7 locations covering 4 counties including New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender and Onslow counties with 3 convenient, AccessOrtho orthopedic urgent care locations in Wilmington, Shallotte and Jacksonville. EmergeOrtho offers comprehensive care that ranges from office visits to physical and occupational therapy, and from ACR accredited diagnostic imaging to advanced, minimally invasive surgery. Our team of specialists include: spine, sports medicine, joint replacement and reconstruction, hand and upper extremity, foot and ankle, podiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), orthopedic trauma, pain management and clinical psychology. Game on! 🦅 EmergeOrtho – Coastal Region is proud to be the official sports medicine provider for UNCW Athletics alongside official healthcare provider Novant Health.

Earlier this week, we had so much fun meeting student-athletes and ushering in the 26-27 academic year with the Seahawks at their annual Student-Athlete Welcome Event.

This agreement marks an exciting new era for UNCW Athletics, ensuring Seahawk student-athletes receive elite healthcare, performance support, and sports medicine expertise for years to come.
