He was always tired and nothing he tried worked.
Ryan had been training consistently, eating reasonably well, and doing everything he was supposed to do. The results weren’t matching the effort. He didn’t know why. Neither did his standard bloodwork.
When we ran a comprehensive panel, the picture was different. His fasting insulin was 23.5, which placed him in the elevated cardiovascular risk category. His inflammation marker was elevated. His Vitamin D was deficient at 18. His free testosterone was suppressed. His body was working overtime just to look normal on paper.
The insulin was the root cause. When fasting insulin is chronically elevated, your body produces more of it than it should just to keep blood sugar looking normal. That state drives fat storage, suppresses testosterone, elevates inflammation, and limits recovery no matter how clean you eat or how hard you train. It is not a discipline problem. It is a metabolic environment problem.
We built the protocol around correcting that single finding first. Twelve weeks later his fasting insulin is 6.1. Inflammation dropped 88 percent. He lost 56.8 pounds. His LDL, ApoB, and triglycerides all moved into better ranges without a single medication targeting any of them. He completed the entire program on the starting dose. No escalation. The results came from the work.
If you have been doing the work and still feel tired, still can’t get the weight to move, still can’t figure out why your effort isn’t matching your results, it is probably not a discipline problem. Most people living with elevated insulin and chronic inflammation have no idea it is there because standard bloodwork doesn’t catch it.
