The mission of the Center for Pediatric Behavioral Health is to improve the lives of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral disorders in the Cape Fear and surrounding regions by:
• providing quality, empirically-supported treatment services

🌴✈️🧢🕶️We wrapped up the week in the best way possible—with Tacky Tourist Day! From loud Hawaiian shirts and f***y packs to oversized sunglasses and vacation vibes, our team brought the fun while showing off their incredible spirit. 🦩📸☀️

Although the outfits may have said “vacation,” our Behavior Technicians never take a break from making a difference. Their compassion, dedication, and commitment to helping children reach their goals are what make our team so special.

To all of our amazing BTs, thank you for everything you do each and every day. We hope you felt celebrated all week long because you deserve every bit of the appreciation!

We kicked off our celebration with Tie-Dye Day, and our amazing Behavior Technicians showed up in style! From bright colors to big smiles, today was a fun reminder of the positive energy our team brings to work every day.

This week is all about celebrating the incredible individuals who make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. Their compassion, dedication, and enthusiasm are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re excited to recognize them all week long.

This past weekend, we were proud to host Autism Takes Flight at ILM—an experience that continues to inspire us year after year. ✈️

A heartfelt thank you to some of our incredible team members who volunteered their time to make this event possible. From helping families navigate the airport to sharing the excitement of viewing and boarding planes, your compassion and commitment created a supportive, welcoming space for every individual and family involved. Events like these create meaningful opportunities for individuals with autism and their families to build confidence and familiarity in a supportive environment—and we’re so grateful to be a part of it.

❄️Due to road conditions and freezing temperatures, our centers will be closed for in-person services tomorrow, Monday, February 2nd to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. We will be providing telehealth services, as appropriate, across our specialized programs. Our providers will be contacting families to coordinate these services when appropriate. We will be monitoring our phones remotely, as possible, as well as [email protected]. Stay warm and safe! 🌳⭐
