Wednesday night we had 18 players in attendance for week 4 of Summer League! This league we have been doing something a little new, but fun. We stream one game per night and every group gets to play that game in their weekly arena draw. This weeks game was Rush! We also had Anonda and Austin join in on the fun for their first league night at Backyard Arcade.

After 5 games were played our top flippers of the evening consisted of Kristen M and Sean T at the top with 29 points on the night. Coming in hot tied for 3rd we had Dale B and Charlie W who both ended with 27 on the night. And rounding out our top flippers group on the evening we had Dave N ending his evening with a nice 26 points.

We are set for week 5 of 6, Wednesday 7/29 at 7 pm. Interested in joining in on the fun? Entry fee is only $1 and we play 5 games for a whopping total of $6 for a few hours of fun. Where else can you find a deal like that? I’ll give you the answer…. It’s nowhere, so join us for a fun Wednesday night every Wednesday at 7. All ages and all skill levels are welcome, we will teach you and get you up to speed 🛸🏛️

Monday night was our Stern Army monthly Monday pinball tournament. We had 12 players join us for a night of head to head matches where each player got to play 10 different opponents on the evening. We also had a random drawing for a Stern Metallica translite which went to, Miles K who traveled u from SC with his dad and brother on a summer Monday night! Congrats Miles!

After our 10 games were all finishing up we ended up having a tie at the top with two players who both had 8 wins out of 10. Mary Alice H and Sean T had to go to the random number generator for game choice and player position on Tales of the Arabian Nights. After a close battle between the two is was Sean T who was able to seal the win! Our podium on the evening looked as such!

This past Saturday we hosted Beach Bash 23! And in perfect fashion we had 23 players in attendance to duke it out for 5 rounds of Matchplay, where we played 2 games per round. We also had a seasoned player who joined us here at Backyard Arcade for the first time, welcome Jeremy! The day was cruising right along with great games being put up all over the place! As we finished out our 5 rounds of games we were left with a 4-way tie for 7th to take the final two seeds for the top 8 final. Miles K, Michael C, Sean T, and Dale B went to the random number generator for game choice so they could flip it out for the final two spots. Michael C and Sean T were able to secure to final two finals positions as Chris R and Jeremy H finished up their seeding tie breaker for 5th and 6th seeds. Here were your seeds going into the 3 game Matchplay final.

After the final two groups finished up their three games we were left with a 3-way tie for 1st! For Phillip D, Chris R, and Sean T it was back to the random number generator for game choice. Pokémon was drawn and what a good game it was. After all bonuses were scored up it was Sean T who was able to take the win and secure the trophy for Beach Bash 23.

Wednesday Night League Week 3 results!
We welcomed 20 players on the night with two first timers joining us, welcome to Hannah and Grant! After 5 games of play on the night here is our top flippers on the night! Celebrating his 18th Birthday and scoring a perfect 35 point night seems to go well together, congrats to Matthew W for being our top flipper of the evening and Happy Birthday 🎊. In 2nd we had Charlie W who just missed a perfect night ending with 33 points on the evening. Dale B rounded out 3rd place on the night with a nice 31 points. And rounding out our top flippers group in 4th place we had a 5-way tie with Ed T, Sean T, Chris R, Bryan R, and Melissa B all ending with 23 points!

We are back at it next Wednesday at 7pm for week 4. New players are always welcome and we look forward to seeing everyone this weekend for Beach Bash 23 on Saturday 7/18 at 12pm.

Incoming Beach Bash ‼️‼️

This Saturday, July 18th at 12pm. Join us for our 23rd installment of our famous Beach Bash pinball tournament. We are bringing back the original 5 round Matchplay style that everyone seems to love. 2 games per round; one classic one modern era game.

Week 2 of Wednesday night summer league is in the books! We had 22 players join us for the night as we flipped away for bragging rights and group movement going into week 3. The top flipper of the evening was Chris R who ended with 31 points on the night. Close in 2nd we had Sean T, John B, Bryan R, and Ed T who all ended with 29 points a piece. Rounding our the top flippers group we had Matthew W with 27 points and Melissa B with 26 points!

Can’t wait to see you all back here for Week 3, Wednesday at 7pm. We also have Beach Bash 23 coming up next Saturday 7/18 at 12pm noon! Mark your calendars for a great week of pinball and some amazing prizes that will be given away for Beach Bash! ⛳️

Summer League week 1 flipped off Wednesday night as 17 players showed up to compete and socialize. We also had a special treat with the USA vs Bosnia World Cup game playing alongside the pinball action. We also welcomed a new game, Tales of the Arabian Nights, into the lineup for the first time to Backyard Arcade. Without further ado here’s the nightly recap. Our top flippers of the evening were Noah G and Sean T who both tied with 27 points on the night. Rounding out the top flippers group tied for 3rd we had Ella S, John H, Hunter D, and Anthony P who all tied with 26 points on the evening!

Great job flipping everyone and can’t wait to get back after it next Wednesday July 8th at 7pm.
