Acne is one of the most common skin conditions we treat, and the good news is you don’t have to fight it alone.

For the first time in more than 20 years, the FDA has approved a new sunscreen ingredient for use in the United States. Beginning in August, bemotrizinol (BEMT) can be incorporated into sunscreen formulations, expanding our options for broad-spectrum UV protection.

Why is this exciting? Bemotrizinol helps provide strong UVA and UVB coverage while allowing for more cosmetically elegant formulations. And as we always say, the best sunscreen is the one you’ll actually wear every day.
