Pelvic Floor Workshop – Learn how to create space in the pelvis and control the pelvic floor.
Your pelvic floor supports your spine, impacts posture & breathing mechanics. It also plays a vital role in performance, recovery, and overall longevity.
Who could benefit from this workshop?
Every. Single. Human. If you experience low back tension, hip tightness, instability, or if you have ever been pregnant – keep reading. Pelvic floor health isn’t just about Kegels. It’s about alignment, decompression, and restoring structural integrity.
What will this workshop look like?
In the first hour, Joel will go over basic anatomy and physiology from an osteopathic view to understand the pelvis’ functions and holistic relationship to the body. We will have comfortable chairs and tables for this informal discussion. The following 2 hours will include warm-ups and exercises to activate and relax the pelvic floor.
Joel will lead everyone through warming up the body – improving proprioception, circulation, mechanics, and posture using various pelvis-centric exercises to activate and relax the pelvic floor. Pelvic ELDOAs specifically targeting the sacroiliac (SI) joint to reset and restore SI joint mechanics while normalizing the connective tissue. We will also explore 3 spinal ELDOAs involving the lumbar, thoracic, and cervical spine. We supply the mats and props, you bring your pelvis and some curiosity.
What is ELDOA?
ELDOA is a system of myofascial stretching techniques to create space in the spine, pelvis, and related joints improving mobility, posture, and pain relief.

After retiring from the Air Force as an Emergency Medic, Joel started learning more about helping peoples health and wellness by becoming a civilian Personal Trainer, which led him to study as an Osteopathic Student under the ELDOA program in 2021. Since then, Joel has helped many diverse populations from athletes to senior citizens minimize joint and back pain, improve posture and mechanics, and solve functional fitness challenges.
