Do you suffer from low back pain?

Your swimming pool can be your best friend to improve your low back woes 🏊🏊‍♀️

Here are 3 pool exercises for low back pain.

1. Walking backwards in the pool— Walk backwards in the pool for timed intervals (10-20 steps backwards/rest/repeat) to strengthen low back muscles, pelvic muscles and lower leg muscles.

2. Kickboard flutters—Grab a kickboard or raft and kick pool length (do for one or two pool lengths). This exercise can reduce low back pain and strengthen low back/pelvis and lower leg muscles.

3. Pool noodle bicycling—Loop one or two pool noodles under your arms and bicycle/jog in place (12-15 reps doing 2-3 sets of bicycling).

Do you suffer from shoulder pain/rotator cuff issues,bicep tendon issues or generalized text neck and hunched posture?

Simple pool exercises may alleviate pain and increase mobility.

⭐️Pool wall or pool ladder pushups— Press against the pool wall or pool ladder 3 sets, 10 reps each.

⭐️Chest flies in the pool— Chest flies in the water , 3 sets, 10 reps each

⭐️Pool noodle push off— Take a pool noodle and press the noodle away from your body, 3 sets, 10 reps on the right and left side of the body.

⭐️Breast stroke— Swim (to comfort level) performing the breast stroke up and back for a few laps to assist with shoulder movement and mobility
