What a meaningful morning at Hillside! Our Patriot Grave Marking Ceremony brought the community together to honor our local Revolutionary War patriots as part of America 250.

Here are a few moments from yesterday ❤️
We can’t wait to share more photos over the next few days!

A date to remember: Patriot Grave Marking Ceremony 🇺🇸

Join us NEXT Saturday, October 17th at 11:00 a.m. as we honor five Revolutionary War Patriots buried at Hillside with the dedication of our first bronze SAR grave markers.

In recognition of America’s 250th anniversary, this ceremony is part of our ongoing commitment to preserving Wilton’s history, caring for the historic Old Section, and ensuring the stories of those who came before us live on for generations.

The ceremony will include historical honors by the CTSSAR Connecticut Line Color Guard and a special commendation to American Legion Post 86 for its longstanding care of the American flag at Hillside.

We hope you’ll join us as we honor their service, preserve their stories and reflect on the history that connects us all.
