Our new Head Chef, Mike, hosted his very first Cooking Demo here at Alexis Pointe Assisted Living! 👨‍🍳

Residents enjoyed watching him prepare a simple yet delicious watermelon salad while getting to know him along the way.

The fresh recipe was a hit, and residents couldn't stop talking about how tasty it was!

We're excited for many more delicious experiences together. 💙

Here at Alexis Pointe, our monthly All-Team Meeting brings our team together to share updates, continue learning, and strengthen the support we provide to our residents.

⭐ Progress can happen at any age, and every step forward is worth celebrating! ⭐

A wonderful example of progress with no age limit comes from one of our residents, Bonnie W., an 88-year-old who has made remarkable strides through Physical Therapy services focused on building strength, improving balance, and increasing independence with daily activities.

Since beginning therapy, Bonnie has shown consistent determination and commitment to her goals. Over time, she has developed both confidence and routine in her daily life, making meaningful progress in her overall well-being.

Bonnie now comes to the therapy gym independently, actively participating in exercises under therapist supervision with focus and consistency. She has also embraced a more structured daily schedule, which has positively impacted her engagement and overall quality of life.

One of the most meaningful changes has been her increased participation in community life. Bonnie now joins others regularly for meals, including breakfast in the dining room - something she previously avoided.

Her journey reflects more than physical progress; it highlights renewed independence, motivation, and connection. Bonnie’s story is a strong reminder of the impact of consistency, support, and perseverance. 💪

What an incredible day at the Wimberley Fourth of July Parade! 🇺🇸

With more than 100 parade entries, the Alexis Pointe crew had an amazing time celebrating America's 250th birthday and sharing plenty of laughs and patriotic spirit with the community.

A special thank you to Katy, Michelle, Ashley, and Joe for representing Alexis Pointe and helping make the day so much fun. We were grateful to be part of such a wonderful community and loved celebrating this special occasion together. ❤️
