To My Dear Patients,

As I begin this next chapter, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you.

Thank you for your devotion, your faithfulness, and most of all, for the trust you placed in me to be your doctor. It has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life to care for you and your families over the years.

Being your physician has meant so much more to me than simply practicing medicine. You welcomed me into your lives, shared your stories with me, trusted me during some of your most difficult moments, and allowed me to celebrate the good ones with you. I will always be grateful for that privilege.

This may be goodbye for now, but I don’t like to think of it as goodbye forever.

So, see you later.

IMPORTANT PRACTICE UPDATE

June 12, 2026

We are writing to inform you that Dr. Juan Ivan Ramirez will be retiring from clinical practice, with his final day seeing patients at Wimberley Medical Clinic on August 12, 2026.

Dr. Ramirez has dedicated many years to caring for patients in our community, and we are incredibly grateful for his compassion, commitment, and service. While we will certainly miss Dr. Ramirez and the exceptional care he has provided, we wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement.

We want to reassure our patients that Wimberley Medical Clinic will remain open and fully operational. Our team will continue to provide comprehensive primary care services, including the management of both acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions. We remain committed to delivering the high-quality, patient-centered care that you have come to expect from our practice.

Although this marks the end of an important chapter in our clinic's history, we are excited about the future. We look forward to sharing additional information with you in the coming weeks and introducing the new provider who will be joining our team. We are confident that our patients will continue to receive excellent care and personalized attention.

Medical Records
Wimberley Medical Clinic will remain the custodian of your medical records following Dr. Ramirez's retirement. Patients who choose to continue their care with our practice do not need to take any action. If you choose to transfer your care to another healthcare provider, we will gladly provide copies of your medical records or facilitate a records transfer upon receipt of a signed authorization.

Thank you for allowing us to be your healthcare partner. We appreciate your trust and look forward to continuing to serve you and your family for many years to come.
