Since we may have some new followers , I thought I’d share the inspiration behind the name of our Practice and the logo we use( that Gabrielle Hadley designed !) .

We strongly believe in establishing and maintaining relationships with our clients and their families. We know that as one OT and one SLP may not be able to work with a large volume of clients and we are absolutely fine with that because what we wanted was a safe space for families to share challenges and celebrations. To have the time to really listen to parents. (We know we would not be able to do that with the amazing support of First Church of God)

The starfish story illustrates how overwhelming the work can be . How simple it can be to start where you are with what you have ! We believe in “Starting With One”. The world has us believing we aren’t enough and the impostor syndrome is in full force but that simply isnt true.

Thank you to all our families who keep coming back to us every week . Thank you to the families that have given us the opportunity to work with your children ! We really do feel blessed .me i

Hi everyone! We wanted to reassure our families that despite the recent 4% reduction in Medicaid reimbursement rates, Start with One Therapy Services plans to continue providing therapy services to our families. There may be a few minor adjustments along the way, but thanks to the generous support of Wi******er First Church of God and Bedford Acres Christian Church, we do not anticipate any major changes or having to stop accepting Medicaid clients.

As always, our greatest goal is to support both your child and your family. We know therapy is just one part of your child’s life, and we are committed to partnering with you in a way that best meets your family’s needs. Thank you for continuing to trust us with your children. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of their journey. ❤️

**We did want to add that we do not have a waitlist. If we can’t work the schedule out to accommodate a family we are happy to help them find a clinic that fits better with what they need !

**Our goal is to provide support to all families in our community who need it, you don’t have to participate in our therapy services for us to offer support and to share resources !

Our next sensory friendly haircuts are coming up May 12th and we would love to get some more donations to help families out. Please consider
donating. We already have six children scheduled. Thanks to Jacqueline Crew for helping us provide this to families. Karen Hadley will attach her Venmo if you able to donate.

Monthly we have been able to do monthly haircuts thanks to Jacqueline Crew . If anyone would be interested in sponsoring a hair cut . I will have Karen post the Venmo . Anything helps us to continue to support or families .
