We were able to stop by and check on our Start with Art Feeding Thinkers Community Garden and we are so excited to see how much everything has grown! 💚

If you know anything about gardening, you know it’s a process. Seeds don’t become thriving plants overnight, and every garden teaches patience, consistency, and care. There are days spent watering, weeding, and waiting but those small efforts eventually turn into something beautiful.

Seeing our plants thriving is a reminder that growth takes time. What started as tiny seeds is slowly becoming a flourishing garden that will help nourish both bodies and minds in our community. Every new leaf, bloom, and vegetable is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and support that have gone into this project.

We’re grateful for everyone who has helped make this garden possible and can’t wait to continue watching it grow throughout the season. The garden is starting to look amazing, and this is only the beginning!

It’s Randolph County Day!

Today from 4:00–6:30 PM, Start with Art is proud to join nine other amazing nonprofits in welcoming the community for the inaugural Randolph County Day!

Stop by our location to learn more about how Start with Art brings creativity, connection, and arts education to Randolph County. We’re excited to share our mission and the impact we’re making through art in our community.

We’re also thrilled to be joined by our friends from Chasing Sunsets Inc who will be at our location during the event!

As you visit participating nonprofits, be sure to collect stamps on your passport card. Visit at least six locations and you’ll be eligible for a special discount at participating local businesses.

This is a wonderful opportunity to discover the organizations that make Randolph County such a vibrant place to live, work, and create. We can’t wait to meet you!

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month 💙

At Start With Art, we believe that mental health matters for everyone, and this month we are shining a light on the importance of supporting the mental wellness of men in our communities. Too often, men face challenges in silence due to stigma, societal expectations, and barriers to seeking help. Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

We are proud to recognize our community partner, Chasing Sunsets, for the incredible impact they are making in mental health advocacy and su***de prevention. Through education, outreach, and meaningful conversations, Chasing Sunsets is helping create safe spaces where men and individuals of all backgrounds can find support, connection, and hope. Their work continues to inspire positive change and break down the stigma surrounding mental health.

We are also honored to announce that Zyler Ogden, Founder of Chasing Sunsets Inc, will be joining us as one of the keynote speakers at our upcoming Start with Art Mental health Matters Benefit Concert . Zyler’s dedication to mental health awareness and community advocacy has touched countless lives, and we are excited for him to share his message of hope and resilience.

In addition, we are proud to welcome Daniel Baker, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, (This Veterans Journey) one of our keynote speakers. Daniel brings a powerful perspective on mental health, service, resilience, and the importance of supporting those who have faced life’s toughest challenges.

Together, we are building a community where conversations about mental health are encouraged, resources are accessible, and no one feels alone in their journey.

Join us as we come together through music, art, and community to raise awareness, inspire healing, and support mental health initiatives that make a lasting difference.

WI******ER — The inaugural Randolph County Day will give residents an opportunity to learn more about local nonprofits.

Pixies in the Pasture was truly a magical day! We were so excited to host this wonderful event alongside our amazing friends at Bee Wings & Fuzzy Things & Hines Homestead & sweet treats.

Children arrived dressed as fairies, pixies, and magical creatures, ready for a day full of imagination, creativity, and fun. Guests enjoyed our enchanting Fairy Tea Bar, spent time visiting and interacting with the animals, and explored a variety of hands-on art activities. Little artists created their own fairy wands, designed whimsical fairy houses, showed off their style with temporary fairy tattoos, and each received a beautiful flower crowns fit for fairy royalty.

One of the favorite attractions of the day was the Mud Kitchen, where children mixed, stirred, and created imaginative mud masterpieces. The charming Flower Shop allowed children to arrange and design their own floral creations, giving them a chance to express their creativity while surrounded by the beauty of nature.

From laughter and friendship to creativity and outdoor play, the day was filled with magical moments and happy memories. We are so grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success. It was wonderful to spend the day with such an incredible group of families and community partners.

Thank you to all who joined us for Pixies in the Pasture. We can’t wait to bring the magic back and do it all again next year!

Pixies in the Pasture today ❤️
