We are so sad to announce that tonight's Mental Health Monday event is canceled.

Chasing Sunsets and Start with Art main concern is the safety of all who attend and this afternoons weather is setting up to be very unpredictable. For the safety of everyone we must cancel.

A huge congratulations to everyone who participated in our Start With Art Community Art Exhibition during Saturday’s Mental Health Benefit Concert! 🎨💙

While the art show may have been one of the quieter parts of the day, everyone who stopped in was incredibly impressed by the creativity, talent, and heart that our artists shared. We are so proud of every single person who entered their work. It takes courage to put your art on display, and we hope this is just the beginning of a tradition that continues to grow each year.

A special thank you to our judge, who made it a priority to recognize a variety of artists and encourage future participation. Supporting local artists is at the heart of what we do, and we are grateful to be able to celebrate their hard work.

In small towns, community isn’t a buzzword, it’s the quiet force that holds everything together.
Today we’re grateful to share a simple but meaningful collaboration between Journey Home and the non-profit Start with Art for their even on 7/25/26. We didn’t donate a fortune. We didn’t make a grand gesture. We simply gave a little time.
And that little bit of time went a long way.
Because in places like Wi******er, the small things matter most. A few hours of hands-on help. A willingness to show up. A shared belief that art, connection, and care still belong at the heart of a community. When organizations like Journey Home and Start with Art come together, something special happens: the load gets lighter, the impact gets stronger, and people feel seen.
This is what community looks like when it works neighbors helping neighbors, nonprofits linking arms, and ordinary moments turning into lasting good.
We’re proud to walk alongside Start with Art. And we’re reminded, once again, that you don’t always need big resources to make a real difference. Sometimes all it takes is a little time and a lot of heart. Here’s to the quiet collaborations that strengthen small towns.

Join Chasing Sunsets and Start with Art for this months Mental Health Monday on July 27th from 6 to 8 pm! We will be at the Goodrich Pool!

This is a free event for ALL Randolph County Students in grades 8th-12th grade!
